As an assistant to Jos Zwaanenburg for the masterclass live electronics, I did an internship at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Besides teaching max/msp, I developed soft- and hardware for an eight piece ensemble to perform the piece "Octet '61 for Jasper Johns" with live electronics. It was a wonderful experience and it helped me realize my potential as a creative individual.

I did mastering for the hip-hop compilation album 'Underworld-Netherlands: International Waters'.

I recorded and mixed the demo for the great young band The Final Arrow.

The Buddha Blender is a wooden box containing several tibetan chant boxes, with individual outputs, chant selection buttons and speed controls.

I created this instrument as an installation, but decided to combine it with a mixer and kaosspad to do live performances. Here's one of those live improvisations:

The following track was created using only an old arp2600 at the analog studio at my school. And it's an example of fun and me enjoying the flow and ease of working with sound without staring at a computer screen.

Most of my time in 2009 was spent on stage, with over 40 shows it was my busiest year yet as a performer, a lot of these shows were playing live electronics with the band 'atlantis' in Holland, Belgium, Germany, France, Austria, Slovenia and the UK.
